A full redesign of a professional 3D artist's online presence, complete with live Three.js model rendering and an integrated course platform with video lessons and progress tracking.
Overview
CG Online Academy is the revamped digital home for a professional 3D artist and educator. The old site lacked the visual impact needed to reflect the quality of the work being taught. We rebuilt it from the ground up with a modern UI, interactive Three.js model rendering that brings the artist's characters to life in the browser, and a full course platform where students can purchase and follow video lessons with step-by-step guides. Progress tracking keeps everyone on track.
The Transformation
The client came to us with a website that no longer represented their skill level. The old site was outdated, hard to navigate, and wasn't converting visitors into students. We started by auditing what wasn't working, then rebuilt every page from scratch while keeping the brand identity intact.
What We Did
Complete UI/UX Redesign
Transformed the CG Online website from scratch. Modernized the visual language, improved information hierarchy, and built a fluid, responsive layout that reflects the quality of the artist's work.
Live 3D Model Viewer with Three.js
Integrated Three.js to render the artist's actual 3D character models directly in the browser. Visitors can interact with real-time rendered models, showcasing the depth of the artist's craft in a way static images never could.
Course Platform with Progress Tracking
Built a full course system where students who purchase a course can access video lessons and written guides directly on the site. Progress is saved per user so they can pick up exactly where they left off.
Student Work Gallery
Dedicated gallery showcasing work produced by students following the courses. It acts as social proof and demonstrates the real-world results of the curriculum.
